WolfAdmin 1.2.0 released!

After over two years of development, it is finally time to release a new version of WolfAdmin. As always, you can find the new version on the download page.

This version can be marked as the largest update to WolfAdmin so far. From now on, you can completely replace the shrubbot administration system with WolfAdmin using standalone mode. Say goodbye to limited amount of levels, admins, mutes and bans, and give a warm welcome to SQL-based databases to store your players and their permissions.

Most of the features that mods like NoQuarter and ETPub provide should have been ported to WolfAdmin. This includes the commands, but also chat logging and private messaging.

Furthermore, the directory structure has been reworked to ease updates and to make sure that all operating systems can run WolfAdmin. In addition to this, the well-known .cfg files have been replaced by .toml files to ease configuration.

Finally, I am very proud to announce that WolfAdmin is now shipped by default with ET: Legacy. This means that anyone who uses the Legacy mod (and any future mods derived from it) will automatically benefit from WolfAdmin. This is a huge step in promoting WolfAdmin for new server administrators and I would like to give them a warm welcome.

WolfAdmin 1.1.0 released!

After almost a year since the first public release I am pleased to announce the first major update to WolfAdmin, which is now available for download!

This release contains an improved balancer, which may now filter for dead players, the last player that joined a team or objective carriers. Besides that, the command system has been reworked so it is even easier to add your own commands! And last but not least, WolfAdmin now supports SQLite in addition to MySQL; this makes it even easier for server owners to start a server with WolfAdmin!

In addition to this brand new release, the website has been updated to accommodate all the new functionality. This makes it easier for me to maintain the documentation, which will expand a lot in the upcoming months, since another update is on its way! WolfAdmin 1.1.0 is only the start of a new series of updates coming out, since the next version will support ET: Legacy and brings a lot of new functionality, so stay tuned!

WolfAdmin 1.0.0 released!

Finally, after a long time of waiting, the first fully stable version of WolfAdmin is available for download!

WolfAdmin is a Lua module for Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory servers. It is an enhancement of the existing game, mod and shrubbot functionality, providing you with extra tools to administrate your server. The module is created for server owners; players do not have to download it. Currently the module only supports NoQuarter, though plans are to support ETLegacy, silEnT mod, N!tmod and other mods as well.

Among the features are advanced logging of player data, such as aliases, warn and level history, and a new set of commands your administrators may use. Another thing which WolfAdmin provides is a new set of custom voting options, currently supporting several new votes for bots control. To call such votes, there is also a new WolfAdmin vote menu which servers may use. Finally the module also provides some features which were originally implemented by popular mods such as NoQuarter, ETPub and ETPro. These features include player greetings, warn history and spree records.

If you have any suggestions for new features, or in case you have encountered a bug, please file a report in the bug tracker.
