a Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory server enhancement

Download now 1.1.0

Welcome to WolfAdmin, a Lua module for Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory servers created by Timo 'Timothy' Smit. It is an enhancement of the existing game, mod and shrubbot functionality, providing you with extra tools to administrate your server. The module is created for server owners, hence players do not have to install anything. Currently the module supports NoQuarter, but a future version will include a standalone mode, which can be run on any mod.

Among the features are advanced logging of player data, a new set of commands your administrators may use and a new set of custom voting options. Finally the module also provides some functionality was originally provided by popular mods and makes them available on all mods. For an overview of all the functionality, refer to the about page.

Although I develop the module myself, beta testing and reporting issues, doing suggestions or contributing to the module in any other way, is always welcome! Please report anything you find useful in the bug tracker. You can monitor the continuous development on my GitHub repository.

Who am I?

I'm a 23 year old student from Leeuwarden, The Netherlands, and in my spare time I am a web designer and programmer/scripter, as I enjoy working with computers and anything associated to it. I'm currently studying Computing Science at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen and hope to finish my Master's degree in 2018.

Why WolfAdmin?

Because the Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory community is very vulnerable as the player base is continuously declining, it is ever so important that we keep the game alive. The idea for this module started growing over the past years. However, because of my lack of modding experience – at that time – I did not contribute to any mod. For this reason and because I believe Lua is the way to go, I made it an add-on, hopefully helping the game survive.

And finally...

I would like to thank the Dark Alchemy and Prime-Squadron community, as well as the ET: Legacy team for their support, ideas and testing my module from the first alpha versions onwards. This has definitely been motivating me to keep maintaining and updating the module.
